Labels that work before a kid can read
Name labels are the most useful thing on this site and the least exciting to shop for. Most of them are a font on a coloured rectangle. These ones have the kid on them, illustrated, next to their name — which is the bit that makes a three-year-old actually recognise their own lunch box.
The form on this page is already set to label mode. Type the name into the Name field, add one clear photo, and the sheet comes back with that name on every label. If a different look suits better, swap the scene — the label text carries across, so you can try the daycare version and the retro version without typing the name twice.

Label stickers questions
Are these labels waterproof and dishwasher safe?
They are printed on laminated PET sticker paper with an overcoat, so they handle water, scuffing and sunlight. They are made for drink bottles and lunch boxes. We would still put them on the outside of a container rather than through repeated dishwasher cycles on the top rack.
Can I put more than one name on a sheet?
One name per sheet. The name you type is applied across the whole sheet, which is what makes it useful for one child. For siblings, generate a sheet each — the scene and look can be different for each of them.
Do I have to upload a photo?
No. A photo is what makes the label recognisable as your kid, but you can generate a sheet with the name and the scene alone if you would rather not upload one.
What sizes do the labels come in?
Sticker size is a setting on the form, and it changes how many labels fit on the sheet. Smaller labels suit pencils, textas and lids; larger ones suit bags and drink bottles.
