Every Way to Get Custom Stickers in Australia
StickerMe vs Redbubble vs StickerMule vs Vistaprint vs local printers. What each does well, and where each falls short.

So You Want Custom Stickers in Australia
You've got a photo of your kid, or a logo, or an idea, and you want it on a sticker. Simple enough. Except there are dozens of services promising custom stickers in Australia, and they all do something slightly different.
I've spent far too long comparing them. This is what I found.
The Five Main Options
Redbubble
Redbubble is a marketplace, not a printer. Independent artists upload designs, you browse and buy. The stickers are printed on demand and shipped to you.
What it does well: Huge variety. If you want a pre-made design featuring a pop culture reference, a cute illustration, or a niche joke, Redbubble probably has it. The matte vinyl finish is decent quality.
The catch: You can't upload your own photo and get a custom sticker made from it. You're choosing from existing designs. Shipping to Australian addresses can be slow and inconsistent since fulfilment happens internationally. No personalisation beyond picking a design someone else created.
Sticker Mule
Sticker Mule is the big name in custom sticker printing globally. They have an Australian storefront, fast proofing, and solid quality control.
What it does well: Professional-grade printing. Good for businesses, brands, and anyone who already has a finished design file. Die-cut, kiss-cut, clear, and holographic options. They've built a reputation on consistency.
The catch: You need to supply the design. Sticker Mule prints what you give them. If you don't have an Adobe Illustrator file or a high-res PNG, you're stuck. Minimum orders of 10+ pieces. Pricing can be steep for small personal runs.
Vistaprint Australia
Vistaprint is the big-box option. They print stickers alongside business cards, flyers, and banners. The Australian site prices in AUD and ships locally.
What it does well: Budget-friendly for simple designs. Good template editor if you want text-based labels or basic shapes. Reliable for bulk orders. Part of a bigger print ecosystem, so if you need stickers plus business cards plus signage, one shop handles it.
The catch: The design tool is functional but limited. Print quality gets mixed reviews. The site pushes upsells aggressively. Free shipping only kicks in at $100+. Minimum quantities apply. The stickers are fine for branding, but they're not going to wow anyone as a personalised gift.
Local Print Shops (Officeworks, Kwik Kopy, etc.)
Your local print shop or the Officeworks print counter can do sticker sheets, usually from a supplied PDF.
What they do well: Face-to-face service. You can see material samples in person. Fast turnaround if the shop is nearby. Good for straightforward label printing.
The catch: Same problem as Sticker Mule and Vistaprint — you need a finished design. Most local shops don't offer design services, or charge extra for them. Quality varies wildly between shops. Pricing per unit tends to be higher than online services.
StickerMe
This is us, so I'll be upfront about the bias. But I'll also be specific about what we do differently.
What we do differently: You don't need a design. You upload a photo of a person or pet. You pick a scene — Space Explorer, Dino World, or describe something custom. Our AI analyses the face and generates an illustrated character version in that scene. The design is created for you.
What that means in practice: Your daughter becomes an astronaut. Your dog becomes a superhero. Your best mate becomes a pirate. You get a sticker that's genuinely one-of-a-kind, based on a real person's face, without touching any design software.
We then print on vinyl, matte, or glossy material and ship via Australia Post. AUD pricing, GST included. The whole workflow — AI illustration, printing, shipping — happens in one place. For details on materials, check the materials and sizing guide.
The catch: We're not a general-purpose sticker printer. If you have a finished logo and need 500 die-cut brand stickers, Sticker Mule or a local printer is a better fit. StickerMe is built for personalised illustrated stickers from photos.

Who Should Use What
You have a finished design and need bulk printing: Sticker Mule or Vistaprint. Both handle production runs well. Sticker Mule if quality matters most, Vistaprint if budget does.
You want a pre-made sticker from an artist: Redbubble. Browse until you find something you like.
You have a photo and want a personalised illustrated sticker: StickerMe. This is specifically what we built. Upload a photo, pick a scene, get stickers of your kid as a cartoon character shipped to your door. Great for school labels, lunchbox stickers, and birthday party favours.
You need labels printed from a PDF today: Your local Officeworks or print shop.
What Australian Parents Actually Want
Most parents searching for custom stickers in Australia aren't looking for a print service. They don't have a design file. They have a photo on their phone and a kid who'd lose their mind seeing themselves as a cartoon dinosaur rider.
That's the gap StickerMe fills. The AI handles the illustration. We handle the printing and shipping. You handle the kid who now wants stickers of themselves on everything they own.
Designing is free — you can create as many variations as you want before ordering. Head to the design page and try it.
